NONG MAI

Nong Mai arrived with her mother when she was a baby, now she has a baby of her own (the 3rd generation)

MAE BOON MEE

Mae Boon Mee is a 35 Yr old female who previously worked in the logging industry before arriving at Mae Taeng Elephant Park

MAE JAAN

Mae Jaan worked in the logging industry throughout Thailand. Her Mahout would sometimes travel for months looking for work.

MAE NOI

Mae Noi is the mother of Orichai. Mae Noi was reunited with her 2nd son Orichai at our park in 2009.

ORICHAI

Orichai is a male with many talents that he and his Mahout Kaeng have honed over time. He is one of our first elephant artists & loves playing football

THONG THEA

Thong Thea is one of our oldest elephant. She born in 1954 and spent most of her early years working in the harsh conditions of the logging industry.

KEAW

Like many elephants Keaw spent her early years in the logging industry, she is now a favourite with visitors to our park

NEU

The name Neu loosely translates to New One. She was born in 2000 and lives in the park with her mother and sister

RAMBO

Rambo is still a baby and he arrived here when he was just 4 years old. He quickly bonded with our other youngsters in the herd

SOM

Som was born in our park and now she is expecting her first baby in June

THONG BAI

Like so many mature elephants, Thong Bai spent her early years in the harsh world of commercial logging

MAE BOON MAI

Mae Boon Mai was born in 1975, her daughter and grandson are also at the park and they are a very close family

MAE LUANG

Mae Luang was born in 1972 in LamPang Thailand. Mae Luang worked in the logging industry from the age of 12 until just 4 years ago

SIRIPORN

Siriporn arrived at the park in 2004 from Surin Thailand where she earned a living for her previous owner walking the streets of Surin Thailand.

PU LUANG

Pu Luang arrived at maeTaeng Elephant park in 2005. He used to work in the logging industry.

SUDA

Suda is a talented painter with hundreds of paintings on paper, silk and tee shirts. Funds raised by her Art sales support the Elephant Clinic at our park.

TANG MOO

Tang moo is a 40 year old elephants who spent her early years in the logging industry

NUM CHOK

Num Chok, like so many mature elephants spent her early years in logging and it’s believed this has led to many elephants reaching maturity without ever mating or having babies

SAITHONG

Saithong is a new arrival to our park, joining our herd in January 2011. She spent her early years in the logging industry

SOMWANG

Somwang was born in Mae Jam and came to our park when he was still very young. His name means “What you wish for”

MAI MAI

Mai Mai is a 40 year old elephant who only arrived in our park in January 2011. Her early years were spent in the logging industry

MAE KAM MOON

Mae Kam Moon spent her early years in the harsh conditions in the logging industry. She had her first baby in October 2009

MAE BOON TONG

Mae Boon Tong is 35 years old. She gave birth to her 5th baby in January 2010 so is currently not participating in the daily activities at the park.
