Tuesday 15th May 2012 saw the Park playing host to BUNGE.  Bunge is a leading agribusiness and food company with integrated operations that circle the globe, stretching from the farm field to the retail shelf. A group of 230 people visited the park to take part in Bunge Eco-Olympics and Friendship Day

Bunge support The Children of Nature Foundation and together with the Staff of Bunge, the children of the foundation planted a tree at Mae Taeng Elephant Park.  The guest of honour was Mr.Suchart Kilapang, Vice Governor of Chiang Mai.  Mr. Suchart Kilapong opened the event by speaking at the opening ceremony.  His speech was very well received by all that attended.

The children and staff then spent the day riding elephants, bamboo rafting, planting trees and bathing the elephants.  Please see the attached video of the Eco-Olympics and Friendship Day.
