In early January, Mae Taeng Elephant Park hosted members of The American School of Vientiane. This was the groups 3rd Foreign Reunion. The 10 members of the group were at school together in Vientiane. Their parents had worked for USAISD, Air America and The US Embassy during the Vietnam War.  Whilst at the Park they took part in a Mahouts Training Course, Elephant Riding, a visit to the clinic and after lunch a few brave souls ventured into the river to assist the Mahouts in bathing their elephants
